Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, I’m sure you’ve seen the ever changing guidelines & lockdowns. And in the middle of this cross-fire, is the Wedding Industry; its suppliers & it’s couples.
And what resilient people we can be!
Through the ever changing guidelines of 2020, Mark Bamforth & Sophie from North and Wild Events created a beautiful Vegas themed Elopement shoot with an amazing team, all taking place at the beautiful Leeds City Centre venue New Craven Hall.
SO many couples at the moment will be toying with the idea of either postponing, cancelling, or going ahead. I’m loving seeing the industry adapt, and show our couples that this is possible.
Small is Intimate.
Small is Luxe.
Small is Classy.
Many of my Bride’s are opting for the wedding now, and party later. It’s easy to forget our ‘why’ at time like this, so please remember why you two are marrying. With much uncertainty around, there remains a constant; love.
So here we have it; something to inspire! A small, intimate wedding is Oh so dreamy and romantic. Some of the greatest love stories involve a secret little wedding, a Vegas Elopement, and taking it back to the two of you as a couple; without distractions, family politics, stress, and the bloody C-word!
On the GLAM Squad this time around was myself and my bestie, which is always a D R E A M ! Miss-Hair by Sophie Jane. You’ll recognise her from my recommended supplier list, and also as someone who I’m always shouting about (I’m her biggest fan girl, can you tell?!). Soph created beautiful, relaxed waves with Zara’s insanely gorge hair, and I opted for a bright, bold PINK lip! Never do I get the chance to go wild with a lip colour on a wedding day, so I was going all out here. Mixing together not two, not three, but FOUR lip colours to get that perfect bright mix, with undertones of Coral and Orange. I like to be extra, I like to be unique, and I like to always go above and beyond- so a bespoke Lip (like my girls will know) is a given. We don’t do bog-standard or basic Bridal around here!

The decor for this shoot just blows my mind. The devil is definitely in the detail. The sweet treats, the disco balls, and the Photo Booth props! Everything was just P E R F E C T I O N and blended together effortlessly.
Reminiscing on this beauty of a day just makes me even more excited to be getting back to what I do best, what we all do best, and what we BLOODY LOVE: WEDDINGS!
If the C-Bomb could go ahead and do-one now, and leave us all to get back to life, that would be absolutely fabulous!
