Bridal Booking Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup and the named client at the time of booking. By paying the booking fee, the client confirms acceptance of the terms outlined below.
Securing Your Wedding Date;
A non-refundable booking fee of 30% of the overall booking total is required in order to secure your wedding date.For some legacy bookings made under previous pricing structures, booking fees may have been charged at £75 for the bride and £30 per additional bridal party member. These bookings remain subject to the pricing structure and booking terms agreed at the time of booking.
No wedding date is secured without receipt of the booking fee. The booking fee secures the exclusive reservation of your wedding date and is therefore non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client.
Minimum Booking Value & Bridal Party Changes;
The number of services confirmed at the time the booking fee is paid forms the minimum contracted booking value. Should members of the bridal party later decide not to proceed with makeup services, the original contracted booking value remains payable. Deposits paid for cancelled bridal party members are not deducted from the remaining final balance. Additional makeup services may be added after booking where timings and availability allow, however these cannot be guaranteed.
Payments & Balance Due Dates;
Final balances are due on the 1st day of the month prior to the wedding month. For example:
• July weddings must be paid in full by 1st June
• August weddings must be paid in full by 1st July
• September weddings must be paid in full by 1st August.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, payment link, or Square credit card payment. No payment plans are offered.
Failure to pay the balance by the stated due date constitutes a breach of contract and may result in cancellation of services. Outstanding balances and applicable late fees remain payable. Late payment fees of £25 will be applied on the 7th day after the balance due date, and every subsequent 7 days thereafter until paid in full.
Bridal Preview Appointments;
Bridal preview appointments are non-refundable once completed. For bookings made under earlier pricing structures, preview appointments may have been charged separately. For current bridal package pricing, previews may be included within the overall package total where stated at the time of booking. If a client decides not to proceed following a preview appointment, all preview costs remain payable and non-refundable.
Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup reserves the right to decline or discontinue services following a bridal preview appointment where behaviour, communication, conduct, or interactions cause the artist to feel uncomfortable, unsafe, disrespected, or professionally compromised.
In these circumstances, all monies paid remain non-refundable and cancellation terms will still apply.
Wedding Morning Timings;
The booking fee secures the wedding date itself and does not guarantee specific start or finish times until the final schedule has been agreed. All members of the bridal party must be present and ready at their allocated time slot. If a member of the bridal party is unavailable, late, or not ready at their allocated time, appointments may need to be shortened or skipped in order to maintain the agreed schedule. Full payment for those services remains payable. Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup cannot be held responsible for delays caused by members of the bridal party, other suppliers, venue access issues, parking delays, or changes made to the agreed schedule on the wedding day.
Additional Locations & Venue Changes;
A £25 location change fee applies where multiple preparation locations or venue changes are required on the wedding morning. Any additional travel time or mileage incurred as a result of venue changes or multiple locations will also be charged.
Travel, Parking & Accommodation;
Mileage is charged at 40p per mile. Any parking charges, tolls, congestion charges, valet fees, or additional travel-related costs must be covered by the client. Where accommodation is required due to travel distance, early ceremony times, or scheduling requirements, accommodation costs must be provided and covered by the client.
Client Cancellations;
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following terms apply:
More than 12 weeks before the wedding date: The booking fee remains non-refundable.
Within 12 weeks of the wedding date: 50% of the remaining balance becomes payable.
Within 4 weeks of the wedding date: The full remaining balance becomes payable.
Cancellation fees reflect the loss of reserved business, preparation time, and the inability to rebook the wedding date at short notice.
Artist Illness, Emergency & Force Majeure;
In the unlikely event that Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup is unable to fulfil the booking due to illness, family emergency, accident, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every effort will be made to provide a replacement artist of a similar professional standard. Any wedding day balance paid will be refunded. Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, venue closures, government restrictions, accidents, power failures, transport disruption, or other force majeure events.
Allergies & Liability;
Clients are responsible for informing Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or skin concerns prior to makeup application. While every effort is made to use professional, high-quality products and maintain strict hygiene standards, Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse skin reactions unless caused by proven negligence.
Photography & Content Usage;
Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup may request permission to photograph, video, or share professional imagery from the wedding day for portfolio, website, educational, or social media purposes. Professional photographs may also be shared where permission has been granted by both the client and photographer. Clients who do not wish for their images to be used for marketing or content purposes must inform Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup in writing prior to the wedding date.
Behaviour & Working Conditions;
Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where abusive, threatening, discriminatory, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour is directed toward the artist. A safe, clean, smoke-free and vape-free working environment must be provided throughout the booking. If working conditions are deemed unsafe, unhygienic, hostile, excessively disruptive, or unsuitable for professional makeup application, services may be refused or discontinued without refund.
Contract Responsibility;
The contractual agreement for services is made solely between Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup and the named bride on the booking. All communication regarding the booking, including but not limited to changes, amendments, cancellations, scheduling, balances, timelines, and contractual decisions, must be made directly by the bride unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup reserves the right to decline involvement in disputes, negotiations, or contractual discussions with third parties including family members, bridal party members, wedding planners, or partners where this is deemed inappropriate, excessive, or professionally uncomfortable.
Agreement of Terms;
By paying the booking fee, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions outlined above. These Terms & Conditions form the contractual agreement between Natalie Jones Bridal Makeup and the named client.
